Where have I been? I have been getting that question a lot lately. To tell you the truth, I have been really uninspired with life. The year started with losing one of the greatest basketball players of all time (Kobe Bryant). Then my brother in law was sent to the ICU for some pretty bad complications that required him to be on a ventilator. Then the pandemic. This pandemic has changed everything form the way I live to the way I feel about even going outside. Then I found out I had rodents in my attic (long story).
I use to love purchasing a coffee from my favorite cafe Starbucks and sipping it as I walked through the tedious task of grocery shopping. Now I have to wear a mask during all of my errands so sipping on that wonderful piece of joy has went away. I use to love to go to a movie every once in awhile. Meet up with friends or family for lunch then run to the movies. Well I just don’t think I would feel comfortable going to any theater at this point and that includes movies, concerts, ball games. Life just became a little depressing for me. I also miss basketball. Thanks to this pandemic the NBA was put on hold. That means no LeBron ! For those of you who have been keeping up with my blogs know the love I have for LeBron. It just hasn’t been the same not watching him and Davis tear up the court and make it as the number one team in the NBA this year. This was suppose to be LeBron’s chance for his 4th ring and I do believe it is his year.
However, it has just been announced that the NBA has just tested 16 positive players recently. The NBA was suppose to restart July 30th to finish the season but now I am not sure if the games will happen and if this season will just be a wash.
I decided to pick up extra shifts at work since there isn’t really anything else to do. I have also started to write my third book which will be a nice little thriller for those of you who love a scare. I am currently attending writing seminars and learning so many things about the writing process. I will try to continue to blog once a week so for those of you who were wondering where I have been……well here I am. Ready to share new adventures and stories. Stay safe !
